Universal Updater: I need help

Hello, good morning/afternoon/evening.
I wanted to ask a simple question.
I helped my friend hack his 2DS a few days ago, and he sent me a message.
When I try to open UU, the console displays the following error (image attached). If anyone knows what we can do and can give some advice, I'd appreciate it.

When trying to open a game: The game is corrupted, or its seed is not imported.

This suggests there is something wrong with the copy of Universal Updater on the SD card.
