Hardware Unique Profile Game Saves???

So I am hoping I am just missing something but does the Wii U not allow Unique Profile Game Saves?

I am at best a little astonished that it do not being that I can do everything else to control the profiles it seems. I am hoping that someone here can be like "Naw dumb-ass you gotta set the setting in the settings so the setting works" Beyond that I am very impressed with the parental controls. Hope I just missed something.

you can have multi users on the wiiu

i think each user can have it own save

I have only tried with SMBU and when I logged into a different profile I could see my save. Maybe it is just game specific. Or I just thought I logged into a different profile. I will have another look.
