Hacking Underclocking vita to charge faster

Using LOLIcon, I had an idea to underclock to essentially charge faster/save battery.
Is it possible and I'm a genuis, or am I gonna mess something up?

You won't mess anything up. However, I assume you aren't actually using the vita while charging considering the lowest clock speed is 111mhz (which makes most games run as slow as a slug). If you aren't using the Vita and charging it, I doubt a lower clock speed would make any difference.

It might charge faster, but games will run like garbage and it will be faster to just let the system charge in sleep mode.
