Well after more than 2 years or 3 without use... i unbricked my Cosmos Black 3DS thanks to ntrboothax... yay but now its when comes more problems. When i turned on my unbricked 3DS, some problem about dscrypt CTRNAND transfer appeared, and i has to do a CTRNAND transfer. Well i finished and i have full working my old 3DS. Now the problem... my old games dont appear. They are on my SD bc my Nintendo folder its really big and i can see them on my 3DS if i go to Setup - Apps - where all games appear... but the number block than should appear in orange now appear in gray. At least they are not deleted but would be cool have them back working. I have a nand backup but if i restore my nand, then it come back to CTRNAND transfer error. I need know if i can fix it or i surrender.
And same than always: sorry if this isnt the correct place but im a almost noob.

  1. Do the following process for either the eshop folder, unknown folder, or both
    • Navigate to the folder
    • Select “<current directory>”
    • Select “Install and delete all tickets”
    • Wait. The system may appear to freeze, just give it time.
    • Press (A) to confirm
    • Press (B) to decline installing tickets from CDN.
  2. Press (Home) to exit FBI

My unknown folder dont have any ticket and im sure than i have some no eshop games o.o

I'm just amazed at how helpful people are here. Nintendo would have charged this person $99 to repair a 6 year old console that isn't worth $70 used.

The problem its than some games wasnt from eshop D: Stupid question (and i dont know if i can ask it here) : If u install a CIA from a game than already has... u lose the save? I mean: my last option its do cias again and install them but i dont know if that would overwrite the games saves.

You'd have to back up the save before you uninstall the game, use JKSM. All files associated with that title (except the ticket) will be erased.

The problem its than JKSM dont detect than i have that games because their block number its gray when should be orange on setup (where appear all games than u have) but i found a good tool for subtitute it. I lost my Devil Survivor save near the end and i dont know if some others because i discover the tool late but well that only mean than i can do a better game this time... bc how i said my 3ds bricked a lot ago but i remember than i dont has a lot of options in the final chapter.

Like I said, any that show as greyed out need to be installed again BEFORE you try to export the saves from them. Whatever one's weren't from the eshop you'll just have to find and download again. You could have saved the data, if you had used TikShop like I told you before.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Titles show Grey in Data Management - Install Tickets for those Titles - Export saves - Uninstall Title - Reinstall Title on another 3DS - Import Saves - Profit.

I wonder if that was the point of game streaming
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    But it's a dead end
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, i only have like 1 or 2 mb sec

Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it.
