Emulation Unable to play NSMBU

Since 1.8.0 build I am unable to play this game. The game runs, but after I press the A button, I get a black screen and Cemu freezes and it only closes after some effort. I have the files in the sys folder and even so, I am unable to play. I have tried without the cache, new installation, nothing seems to fix the issue. On SM3DW I am getting fps drops to 30 fps even on maps.
My rig
I5 3570K turbo set to 4.2ghz
8gb ram
Rx 480 8gb
Win10 pro

It's a polaris gpu problem. You can only use driver 17.1.2.

Seriously? I will give it a try, I am currently at 17.8.2.
