Hi, I have a PSP Street with Pro F3 CFW installed.
I wanted to remap my buttons because my Home button is stuck and it's like I keep pressing it all the time. I'm not able to run any emulator because it keeps opening the menu and I wanted to remap the Home button with a combination of L and R triggers.
The problem is that I'm not able to enter recovery mode because it's not possible to open the relative menu. So to remap buttons I need to enter recovery mode, but to enter recovery mode I need to remove Home button being "pressed".
I've also tried to open the shell removing the home bar ribbon from the motherboard but I have the same issue. I wan hoping to change that component but it seems not to be the cause.

EDIT: right trigger powering on doesn't work
Any suggestion?

I tried but it doesn't work.
I think it's because it's like I'm pressing Rtrigger + Home button (always pressed) at the same time

I would not be the best person to ask about that. I've never opened a psp. I'm trying to think if there's some way to force the recovery menu without any buttons like a default setting or something.

Don't worry, thank you for your time btw.
I was just looking for a way to enter recovery mode in a different way so I can enable plugins like MacroFire and remap controls.
Is there a way to enable MacroFire without entering recovery mode? Or to disable the home button via software?

never heard of a way of disabling the home button. you'd be stuck inside a game unless you powered off. never heard of macrofire.

It'd be helpful if there's a way to open vsh menu in another way. Or finding a solution to enable plugins without entering recovery mode or vsh menu
