Successfully did the update to 3.65 with vita shell at 1.82 and everything. The problem is that it can seem to find an Uma0 folder... It has the ux0 and the ur0. Vita shell would just say can't detect USB device if I try to mount the sd2vita... Is there an extra step involved

Been using nonpdrm + sd2vita, and adrenaline with no problems on 3.60. Vita games on the micro SD card (Uma0?) and adrenaline pointing to the vita memory card (ux0?).

I'm willing to nuke both vita memory card and sd2vita memory card if that's gonna fix the problem... Followed all the steps except I was using a spare 8gb vita card to update to 3.65 and switched back to my 32gb one after. Would that matter at all?

*Ensure your plugins are updated
>If it still persists
*Use Celeste's StorageMgr

Also what version Vita are you using?
Uma0 stands for USB Mass Storage 0.

Yeah that too >.>

Assuming, of course, that the patched Vita2SD module doesn't work as desired.
It would certainly be more helpful if CelesteBlue supplied build instructions on the front page/README, but for now we'll have to play the waiting game a bit otherwise.

It has been updated. It's just not compiled yet. If anyone can compile it then that's all they need really

what I just said two seconds ago said:
*Not until StorageMgr's release...
That implies the pre-compiled binary, not referencing the current state of the source code.

(On a side note, it's still being updated to this very hour; I assume for cleanliness of code or whatnot.)

Alright I'll try it when I get home on Sunday. Felt like I jumped the gun too soon X_x guess I'll have to wait it out.

All the plug-ins are newly downloaded right before starting the update to 3.65. I'm only using nonpdrm and gamesd.skprx. I'll try the forked version of gamesd.skprx that was linked.

Will using storage manager override the forked version of gamesd.skprx? Is it an all in one solution? I thought switch2sd was the in one solution X_x

Storage manager is a "all in one" solution that mounts everything for you to the partition you specify, PLEASE read Celeste's github readme about this all.

Strangely enough, I could never get the device to recognize the sd2vita as the Uma0... So now it is mounted as ux0 and the 32gb memory card I had is now the Uma0... Dunno if that has any disadvantages but it's working now.

adrenaline can now be pointed to the Uma0 anyway which was the main issue for me before. So it's all good now. Thank you everyone

(that something I wanted to do, that is use uma0 but if you only have 8gig vita official memory card, and its your emergency device for vita shell, just use "HBinjector" ........ unless something was updated, its really "sorry out of luck" if you accidentally do enough damage to the other partitions containing system files, that is unless reinstalling 3.65 enso firmware can fix everything ..... so far no reports of that happening)

(with uma0 specifically I started with a 128 gig usb stick, so its good to hear about the sd2vita plugin going 1.2 go support both partitions of ux0 and uma0 .............. before that, the vita had problems unmounting and mounting the uma0 memory card/usb stick ........... and beyond that, you have power issues and overheating issues, I melted a marshmallow on top of my pstv, thats at least 2amps or more of heat very damaging, that particular unit still works, but i never play with usb stick more than 2 hours) (sd2vita 1.1 only supports ux0, no uma0, if your helping someone else, they can only damage their unit if they update that plugin, to sd2vita 1.2, game sd something)

@SylverReZ find me ONE community that is free of drama and politics. even video games forums (like this one) have politics section. and for some reason gamers still take consoles/brands wars seriously. even as a kid i never took the console wars bait despite being a nintendo kid.
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
one of the reasons i deleted all my social media accounts, reddit account (although i was rarely using it) etc was to get away from this shit.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Vetusomaru, Sadly, not all communities like to play nice. Forums are pretty much dying despite Discord amongst other social media being available.
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
i only kept my twitter accounts and only because many of the artists i like share their art only/mostly at twitter.
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
lots of discord groups (even the big ones) are also dead for some reason.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Twitter is way too shittier.
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
that's why i added some firefox addons to block shit like twitter trends.

Discord, on the other hand, moderation tends to not be very nice in video game communities from what I had experienced.
