Hacking Um I need Help {R4 Related}

So I brought an R4 SDHC DSI/3DS Dual Core Smart Update 2013 and then I formatted the SD Card to download the New Kernel After I did that my R4 is Going Very Odd. No Text Shows at all,it freezes when I try to start up ROMS and The Skin is Pitch Black Help

What's the website listed on the card?
And what ROMs have you tried to play? Try something old, like Mario Kart.

The Website Shown was r4isdhc.com I got my Kernel From There also the Rom I tried New Super Mario Bros You dont get much older than that also what about the text

Okay Menu Works Fine Now but um no Games Start up it says Loading and then the Screen Goes White {Tried New Games like Pokemon Black and old games like New Super Mario Bros}
