QUOTE said:At an investor Q&A earlier today, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot discussed plans for the portable and mobile market.
He reiterated the publisher's plans to have a strong focus on both the upcoming next generation portable powerhouses, Nintendo's 3DS and Sony's NGP, with key franchises from the high-end machines extended into the portable domain - the likes of Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Rayman et al.
From there also drive additional revenue by ensuring that games made for the pair can also be scaled down for the mobile market - your iPhones, Androids, tablets etc.
QUOTE said:We are working to make sure that the games we create for portable machines can be adapted for those platforms, so that after making good revenue on 3DS or PSP2, we can go to a second phase, which is going at a lower price to other machines.
