Dump your cart, convert to xci to nsp - then install - then you can extract the update.
Another way (not tested by me), create an nsp forwarder (and install) with the same id as your cart - then you should also be able to dump your update.

.-.

All that to dump an update? they better do a better job.

Extra Info:

If im trying to dump the update its because I want to create an XCI to get rid of the data on my Switch and have a FULL updated XCI of that game, because I don't want to install NSP, doing what you say will defeat the whole purpose.

You seem to forget I paid $45 for the whole experience....
Why would I have forgotten - I've never heard of you before, so have no idea what you spend your money on. Also - you paid for a licence for sxos, this app has nothing to do with that as it's a separate app and nothing to do with what you paid for.

Also, you still sound like a spoiled brat. I think I'll add you to my ignore list now.

you paid for the USB dongle and SX OS - not for all the subsequent updates and apps. Sorry but I have to agree that your comment just reeks of entitlement.

Actually.. besides that point - WHY would you be wanting to dump updates and DLC for XCI images?

Whether the XCI images are your own dumps or sourced from the net - the updates and DLC can also be sourced from the net. I'm not really seeing the point of what you're actually trying to achieve.

I just updated...and well, I like the old version much better. This doesn't have options for TRIM or remove Cert. Does Team Xecuter maintain an Archive, so I can download 1.0.3 again?

Dump of games installed on internal storage doesn't seems to work, causing the app to crash. Anyone can confirm this?

I think they just took some of the GUI from SX Installer (aka blawar's Tinfoil)
Looks nice though.

Indeed. Why is that built in installer still there? It sucks, it's buggy and corrupts games and they have a much better option now. The built in installer should just be the new one.

Doesn't what? "Doesn't" doesn't fit in with anything in the post you quoted. :P

If you have that many games maybe you should consider installing getting a bigger MicroSD and installing the ones you actually play onto that instead of relying on xcis. It might seem like more effort but eventually SX OS is gonna be phased out (we all know what happened with Gateway) and it'll be much easier to switch if you don't use xcis at that point.
Next time give some constructive comments.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I have a 200gb myself since they were way cheaper here, but I refused to use xcis (even though I have SX OS), since I used to use Gateway, and once they became outdated, it was a big task moving everything to cias, including the saves. The 200gb was filled up almost immediately, but there are a lot of games I'll never play that I only installed to try it out.
Anyway, your saves won't be affected by mixing to nsps, so I suggest you slowly move over to exclusively nsps so you can switch CFW at will.
I would do that if I could load nsp's from a hard drive.

Check your available sd card space.

Sadly I can't dump darksiders and convert it to nsp :(
It can't even be installed from xci.
Not sure if the dumper is faulty.
All other games worked so far.
The dump itself works as xci but installation or convert errors out. Strange ^^

i thought I did?

nsp loading from USB should be possible eventually. It's a bit of a hassle though (especially when you can't move installed games between storage devices, they'll have to implement that too), but I suppose it's good for offloading games to when you aren't playing them.
