Hacking Twinmos MicroSD

Alright i've found this deal on a 512mb Microsd card from a brand called Twinmos

It only costs €19,- here and the read/write speed is 10mb/8mb
isn't this about the same as the sandisc ultraII cards? because those cost more than double that price here...

The difference between the ultra II and this one is that the ultra II has a write speed 9mb/s... but that isn't used in games only for saves right?

Though the write and erase speeds of mem cards differ greatly, the avg read speed on all them is fairly equal.

Read speed and access times is all that matters for actually running the games. As you realise.

Access times..

Sandisk standard (microSD) ... 1.1 m/s
Sandisk Ultra 2(microSD) ... 1.0m/s
Kingmax (microSD) ... 0.8 m/s (said to be the fastest at the moment)
Twinmos (microSD) ... ?

Transcend has a 80X microSD card does that say anything? because i can't find anything on acces speeds when i look at specifications

[Edit] Nvm just read on SCdev that they have fast speeds but a crappy accestime.. think i just have to stop being so cheap and just shell out the extra cash
