your NOT ALONE on this issue with this TV

there's a few people out there same issue same TV!

link

solution is in the last post ..

QUOTEI had the same problem last night - sound but no picture form any of the inputs - DVD, VCR, FIOS or antenna. I could still see the TV menu. If you go to the TV menu - you can go to the settings (far right top), from there you can choose to restore factory settings, usually needs a code - 0000 (if you did not choose a different one), select yes when prompted if you want to restore factory defaults. This brought my picture back. I lost all of my picture preferences i had set - but at least I got a picture! I hope this helps!!

although I would still try dig out that receipt and get it replaced under warranty if it persists!

Sounds like something has gone wrong with the backlight of your LCD. If thats the case you wont be able to fix it yourself. You should contact Toshiba customer support, Ive gotten things fixed before without a receipt, you just need to make a fuss about it.
