No they didn't. If it said an update failed to download, that just means that you're blocking updates correctly.Hope soon, Nintendo just relesed a system update but luckily its blocked
My first thought was RedNand
Yes it is....
Today, one very important thing is being "officially" released:
CFW Booter - A .elf file for the Homebrew Launcher which will boot a custom fw.img off the root of the SD card. In other words, this is a stable version of the long-coveted "IOSU exploit" for 5.5.x users only !!

Oh cool, I can brick a Wii U with this.
Yo dude thanks, I was wondering why it was gone from the site.
Yea, glad I got it in time.Yo dude thanks, I was wondering why it was gone from the site.
Cool stuff, I wonder why you would want to delete system titles though..

I have a feeling it's just to demonstrate that it's now possible to get enough permissions to delete system titles. I think. That's just a guess. What is that may I ask? I know it has to do with titles, but how do we use it?
If you have to ask, it isnt for you. Not being a smartass. I have an idea and the files, but am still waiting. Unless you really wanna lose your wii u over impatience, I would suggest the same. 8 days isnt that long, if that is what they are hinting at. We've waited this long already, what is another week? Besides, the nand dumper isnt very stable and can require upwards of 10 dumps (quoted from another post) to get a working one. The only files out there are unofficial and we have no idea who created them. They could intentionally write and brick for all we know. So, once again, the best thing right now is to wait. Besides, there is not much you can do with it right now since its just a 1:1 copy of your nand, unless you mod it for WUPserver. Modding you nand is done manually right now using IDA Pro and some other things. If you do decide to try it, I REALLY hope you can live with a bricked wii u right when stuff is getting good. What is that may I ask? I know it has to do with titles, but how do we use it?

Anyway, cross our fingers for a monday release. If not, hopefully Halloween.
LOL, I didn't even notice it was you. Yepper, its going to be worth the wait if it can do everything that people have said. The way it seemed, with the one guy naming himself Hillary and Trump, we weren't gonna see it until the election in the US, but I won't argue if it's sooner. Has anyone heard anything from team salt about their stuff? I heard it's been nothing but a shit talking fest since wiiubru's announcement and collaboration. Honestly, it makes sense to get as much help as you can to get something working. Hogging it for the glory or to say "I haz hax" is just dumb. Don't mention it if you don't intend on releasing. It just pisses people off. Not accusing anyone, just a general comment. No no no, it's alright, mostly curious as the scene has well, heh, exploded if you will, I didn't even see this coming XD That being said, I'm waiting like many others, till Halloween. At least, as the teaser implies, as this is gonna be one heck of a ride as we see things roll out, no worries
