ok theres a bunch of websites that need to be opened repeatedly. right now i've put them in folders in firefox bookmarks and i right click the folder and select "open all in new tab".

this however is wayyyyy too complicated for my mom. so i need some advice on how to turn opening multiple tabs into an icon on desktop.

Create a new text file with notepad and add the addresses like this :

Code:
start http://www.Gbatemp.net/
start http://www.google.co.uk/
start http://www.bbc.co.uk/

then save it to desktop and then rename it but change the .txt extention to .bat open the new bat file and each page will load in Firefox tabs

how about using the bookmarks toolbar of firefox?

just drag the favorite weblinks onto the bookmarks toolbar ... when you run out of space download and install the MULTI ROW BOOKMARKS toolbar addon link and you can have as many tool bars stacked on top of each other

if it looks messy with the link name next to the icons right click it and edit its properties and delete the name and save changes ... you will be able to see what each icon is by holding the pointer over each icon

hmmm, i usually just drop all these sites into a single folder on my bookmarks toolbar as suggested by kobykaan and middle-click it to open all...

alternatively, you could open all the necessary pages first, set it all as a homepage (tools->options->main->homepage->use current pages) and have your mom click on the home icon to open all
