Hacking TubeHax [LOCAL]

Ok, I'm relaying on TubeHax to block my wiiu updates and it's been like that for a long time and always worked. It's a free trustable public DNS server and I refuse to use/trust someone's else.

Recently Tubehax had been having lots of downtime and I can't browse or watch netflix when I need it most. So I configure my own Tubehax-style service that runs locally in a Windows computer, then set it as a Secondat DNS in my WiiU.

Now when public TubeHax fails, I start my PC and run my own. This is still a good alternative for people that doesn't have a router with URL filtering or just want a more simple solution.

BTW, Youtube app works this way.

MINI-TUTO

1) Make sure your PC is using an static IP adress
2) Uncompress the zip
3) Run START.bat (a black window will appear)

4) Allow Windows Firewall Exceptions for both (private and public) connections
5) Go to your WiiU WIFI connection and edit your Manual DNS (Primary should be Public Tubehax 107.211.140.065) and add the Secondary DNS from your PC's IP, in my case would be 192.168.001.122​

Yes. You can run this in any cheap VPS. AWS offers 1-year FREE Windows VPS

Unfortunately, with this software you have to configure an static IP in your PC (in your case it will be in the 192.168.2.x range); if you don't know how to do it that's beyond the scope of this.

I got it to work! Thanks a lot. You should add the tutorial on the OP as well as the link explaining how to get a static IP.

you shouldnt be able to access eshop without nnu patcher or u shouldnt be able to connect while checking for updates
