Seriously though, the menu isn't working. I just have a bunch of filenames listed (everything works, but the menu itself does not) with no menu overlay to make it look like a real TT, and none of the skins I've tried work...

(plus the fact that I can't find a working pre-fixed Moonshell 2...)

Why not just delete everything from the card and start from scratch? Does not take long, just back up your games/saves/apps to pc first.
Pre fixed? The TTDS auto patches all .nds files automaticly. Just google "moonshell 2 wiki"

I believe it is 1.71

Also, I've tried to use Moonshell 2, it always error messages.

Newest firmware has given me blue bars and no menu...

EDIT: Floss alarm, bad file placement...

...now where is that blasted Moonshell 2? I hate it when I can't do things myself... blasted Linux...

YSmenu is an alternate firmware based off of the TTMenu firmware.
It's based off the unofficial TTMenu, it's not too hard to find and use.

You can install it through that up there.

I thought that was the other way around, the unofficial ttmenu was a hack of ysmenu?

Either way, all I want is a functional Moonshell 2 to work alongside my other files...

And preferably one that can use all those nifty SKN files...

You know I have no idea to be honest with you. All I really know is how to install and use it. The history behind it really isn't something that was important to me.

Can't I just switch out the language file?

EDIT: Apparantly not...

EDIT 2: Switched the background images on the twewy skin, it left a bar from the image that belongs there, that normal?
