hey, ive been out of the scene for a while... is true blue still the only way to play games like skyrim and arkham asylum?

if so, anyone know of the cheapest place to buy it? is the TB2 dongle any different or is it just a firmware update?

Thanks!

yes to ur first question. the cheapest place would probably be lightake (w/ shipping $10-$15 cheaper, but if u live outside of China, it could take over a month to get). u will need TB cfw to use the dongle otherwise the ps3 won't recognize the device.

are the more recent games playable from a hdd if using TB? or is it necessary to buy a disc of the game that i saw being sold.

TB has nothing to do with the place where you store your game.
You can dump the game on internal HDD or an External one. Only check the compatibility list to see if a game works in internal/external/both.

Of course, you can buy the games you like.

Can you link the disc you are talking of? Because as far as i am aware true blue game are only playable from HDD; you have to replace a file so it can work. they are called 'fixed true blue eboot' google is your friend

You are thinking about True Blue discs that you can buy where the eboot has not been dumped yet.
Email lightake they have them.
