Hacking Trouble installing custom theme

Hello, I've followed multiple tutorials to learn how to install custom themes on my PSP and I can get the theme to show on the menu but it just shows corrupted. Any help is appreciated

it may be corrupted. I have a custom theme on my pstv (not on the vita though), and it's really as easy as dropping the theme file in THEME, and installing. if it's saying it's corrupted, it might be.

Ok thank you, I thought it was an error with the directories or something, I'll get one from a different source

Turns out that wasn't the problem, my themes were 6.60 instead of 6.20

didn't even realize that themes were firmware specific. thanks for letting me know.
