Homebrew Question Trouble Decrypting NSP/XCI

I have an XCI which I've converted to an NSP, and I'm trying to decrypt and dump for use in Toolbox to extract models, textures, etc. Unfortunately, Hactool is currently force-closing the second it opens up (even after playing with compatibility modes, updates, admin privileges, etc), and other programs are telling me I have the wrong keys (though it opens in Yuzu just fine). Any help at all would be appreciated as this is starting to get on my nerves.

It works. The biggest pain is extracting your keys and make sure that only the necessary ones are in the keys list. I honestly forgot how I did it, but it definitely works if you will see it through.

I don’t have a physical version of this game (for Switch, anyway), and I tried using XCI Explorer to pull the keys to no avail.

The keys are from the switch, using LockpickRCM.

Make sure your Hekate, your LockpickRCM, and other related files are updated to their latest before you dump your keys. Then everything else should decrypt fine.

I've been using a keys that I lockpicked myself (admittedly a few months ago, but I have terrible internet and haven't updated anything at all). Is that likely the issue? It was working for a previous game, but then just sort of...stopped.

It's usually OFW updates that stop things from working, and they add new keys which need redumped. That usually means updating Hekate, LockpickRCM, and Atmosphere, as well as the sigpatches. And running LockpickRCM again to dump the new keyset.
