The no codes found message means: No codes found. So you have either the wrong filename, or the file in the wrong folder.

Cool, thanks WiiPower.

I'll try a few things, see where I went wrong and post back results.

EDIT: Got it! Here is what I did.

1. Obtain .txt format of desired cheat
2. Use latest version of Cheat Code Manager (1.1 is what I used)
3. Create a game ID of 6 digits, I used the original 4 and added 2 others.
4. Save your .GCT file and name it the 4 original numbers/lettes
5. Store your .gct files in SD:/Triiforce/codes
6. Enable Ocarina and proper hooktype

I hope that helps some people.

Digital1980, did you manage to get Ocarina to work?

The game I tried was Defend Your Castle (WDFE). Game on USB NAND. Codes in SD. 3.2U IOS249 rev14.
Ocarina did NOT work in TriiForce beta5. I've tried every hooktype available, no error messages before the game was loaded, it always reported "Codes found. Applying" in the last line right before the game booted up. However, there were no effects of the codes in game.

The game was also installed on Wii, and booted via Gecko, in this case Ocarina worked.

I used code manager 1.2 for pc to get the .gct, put WDFE.gct in both SD\data\gecko\codes and SD\Triiforce\codes

Cool app. Nice to see an app implement the emulated nand. Gonna go try this out

Where does the main.dol go? I put it on the root of the SD card, but it says "main.dol not found" or something like that. Sorry for being a noob.

Works for me.

NTSC, 4.1, Used SimpleFSdump with the SD fix and WAD2NAND to install WADs. Running NAND from USB HDD (LaCie 750gig in two partitions, WBFS and FAT32).
8gig SDHC. Only tested World Of Goo so far.
TriiForce couldn't see my FAT32 partition until I made the partition active. It is the second partition on the drive. I was afraid I was going to have to swap my WBFS and FAT32 partitions, but it worked fine.

Someone said there's a limit to the number of WADs that can be installed. Something like 42. Can anyone confirm?

Great work. I can't wait to see how all of this comes together in future versions.

TriiForce is running well on SD but unfortunately fail with my USB Hard Drive...

Loading...Error: could not get dir entry count! (result: -1)
Reading folder /title/00010001 failed
Error getting the title list
Press any button

And then Wiimote is useless!

I think it's worth mentioning again, some USB devices aren't compatible. My hard drive, for example, will only work using uloader along with it's cIOS.

So if your USB devices aren't working at all with Triiforce, make sure it's not a cIOS issue, as it's entirely possible that it is because that's what Triiforce uses to access usb devices for NAND emulation.

Check to make sure your partition is set to active.

I got one game that will not work for anything from emulated nand.

Contra III the alien wars.

It will work from real nand just fine.

It will not work from emulated usb nand(default settings)
I've tried it with every combo of settings nothing works.

I've tried playing it after installing it with wad manager 1.5 = no go
says my wii system memory is bad.

*another note* wad manager will not let me uninstall the wad from emulated nand.Always comes up with an error.

I've tried playing it after installing it with w2n(regular way and installing it with a batch file) and it either black screens or green screens.

There are other games too but i cant remember them all,but i think some are due to the way they were installed.

I installed a large number of wads(43) with w2n with the batch file found in an earlier post and none of the games will load from emulated nand.I then deleted them all and installed only a couple of them using batch file and they loaded just fine from emulated nand.

*They either gave a black/green screen or gave the message please eject disc turn off console refer to owners manual*

So maybe there is a limit to the number you can install using a batch file.

UPDATE:

I read on the wiki that someone got this working from emulated nand on sd so i tried it and it does indeed work for me from emulated nand on sd.
It will not work though on a usb flash drive or a usb external hard drive for me.

Nevermind. Read the post wrong.

Works great so far

Only suggestions for the loader are just purely cosmetic such as making the selection of VC/WiiWare bring up a list instead of going left and right and to be able to save settings for games so you don't have to set the settings each time. Anyhow great app, I'm enjoying it a lot

Receiving nothing, but code dumps except twice when using HDD..... redumped the NAND several times, but issue persists. Tried both USB ports First port gives the dump. Second gives this error:
Code:
Loading...Error: could not get dir entry count! (result: -1)
Reading folder /title/00010001 failed
Error getting the title list
Press any button

The Dump report is as follows:

Any suggestions would be helpful! My system is 4.1u with Bootmii v2 and preloader CIOS Rev 14 CIOSCORP V2. HDD is a Maxtor One touch 640GB HD. Works with USBGX and MplayerCE with no issues. SD is a Sandisk 2GB and works with homebrew and bootmii. Been unable to get Triiforce to work with SD card using channel without Triiforce on card.
Issue happens when using Triiforce as loader (without .dol on card) or through HB channel. Works fine when choosing real nand through loader or HB channel.

What? Could you repeat your problems in a way somebody who doesn't know it can understand it?

It *looks* like you have 1 problem with usb and one with channel, but i'm not sure.

Could you make the forwarder look in usb:/apps/TriiForce/boot.dol and then sd:/apps/TriiForce/boot.dol?

Thanks.

That would touch usb, i won't do that. You can compile it on your own when you want that. I won't touch usb, because once it's started, you can't shut it down, i only use usb when i have to, a forwarder is nothing you have to use usb for.
