Treasure making a new 3D action shooter

The developer of Sin & Punishment and Ikaruga has a new game in the works and, unsurprisingly, it's a new shooting game. More specifically, a job posting (via Siliconera) on Treasure's website notes that it's looking for a programmer for a new 3D action shooter.

The image above is located on the Treasure website's homepage and links to the job listing. It could be unrelated, or it might very well be a hint as to this new game prospective employees would be working on.

No further details were made available, but it does confirm that Treasure will be staying in its niche and creating a new shooter. Most recently, Treasure released a new Sin & Punishment, Star Successor, for Wii.

So odds are this will be on the 3DS or PS3. It's Treasure though so it'll probably be good enough.

Bangai-O DS wasn't bad, it was just horribly difficult, and I suppose that's what you didn't like about it. (I never played the Dreamcast version so I have no idea what it's like, correct me if I'm wrong)

A lot of people hold Treasure in high regard but I've never forgiven them for Freak Out on the PS2.

Hey, it wasn't as good as the dreamcast version, but it's still a damn fun game. It's certainly better than getting nothing at all.

Bangai-O DS wasn't bad, it was just horribly difficult, and I suppose that's what you didn't like about it. (I never played the Dreamcast version so I have no idea what it's like, correct me if I'm wrong)

It was easy. Anyways Tropicana said what i was gonna type so yeah the DS version is somewhat dumbed down, But better than nothing after all, Same goes for Ketsui Death Label.

I wonder what is this game gonna be, some people say it might be a mischief makers sequel which i doubt, Another Radiant Silvergun game would be nice too, Anyways, Thanks for posting.
