Hacking Translation Patch Application

I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, but oh well.

I have certain... gba and ds games that require translation patches to run in English, however I have no idea how to go about applying these on the M3 Real. it works with emulators and whatnot, so how can I get these to work?

The game is in .gba format, and the patch in .IPS

Do I need to use IPSwin or will it autopatch somehow?

IPSwin is incredibly easy to use. i mean, you dont even need a guide. just take your rom and your patch and press patch

Haha, I know that now, it's just that I've never tried it, I've been using the autopatcher on VBA.
