ROM Hack transformers cheats on DSATM

Hey I used DSATM (it's a cheating tool) to put cheats on my transformers - autobots rom. however the cheats don't work. can some one who is familiar with this tool give me a hand. or if there is a better way to get AR codes onto a fire link card(n-card clone) I'll take that suggestion also.
