Trading in pokemon with the same save data

Couldn't really find anything about this anywhere. What would happen if I moved my pokemon game's save data on another 3ds, and tried to trade with myself, both having the same save data? Not like it would be useful but I was wondering if it detects that the trainer ID is the same and would do something about it.

Nope, it doesn't detect anything. I actually have done this many times between my DSiXL and N3DSXL with the same save, i've tried Pokémon D/P, HG, and White, mainly for transferring legendaries and trade evolutions, items etc.
Can't say about the 3D games but i would assume it's the same.
