hello friends,

are there any new tower defense games for the ds?

I played Ninja Town some time ago and it was really great.

Have there been released any similar games? (besides Lock's Quest)

BTW if you like TD games you should try out "Plants VS Zombies". It is like a perfect nintendo ds game made for pc :/ check it out.

take care

I have played Plants vs Zombies extensively and am still addicted to Endless Survival. As for DS tower defense there is
Desktop Tower Defense not sure how good it is though..

Edit: If you don't mind Homebrew you could try Warcraft Tower Defense.

well yeah, desktop tower defense is nice. it's simple with no storyline or anything. there's a couple of good tower defense games for the ipod touch though.

I loved Ninjatown too. I still carry it on my Acekard.

You should see some of the tower defense games on the PSP right now. Creature Defense is the best one I've ever played. Points from beating levels lets you unlock new units up to ten for each element (red-blue-green-gold-black) with varying stats and abilities. It has excellent balance and graphics and tons of replay value despite only five stages (they all have sets of goals with three phases, a time mode, and two bonus challenges) Perhaps best of all it's technically a PSP mini, so it's only $8.

They also had a Pixeljunk port, Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders, and Fieldrunners which is more traditional like all those Flash games.
