I'm genuinely curious if anyone actually uses these acronyms, or if they were just created for the sake of the article to trick parents into thinking they're "up to date" on their kid's slang.
Personally I was only familiar with 1337, 420, ASL, banana (internet lingo?), J/O, kitty (once again, internet lingo?), and PRON (CLEVAR ACRONYM GAIZ).
