If it's a 2 DVD game there's a reason : it couldn't be stored on a single 1.4GB DVD...

well, and thus it would be cool if they can be burnt together on a normal dvd: 4,7gb

I'm not sure but from what I understand, multi boot and multi disc are two very different things.
Booting from one part of a disc after an initial boot loader has run is one thing (multi boot) but actually appearing to have inserted a new disc is different.
If the game supports booting from the second (or third.. any 3 or more disc GC games?) disc and you have the save file to start from there then you should be able to boot the "second disc" from a boot loader and load your game merrily.
I'm not used to multi boot so I may be wrong. I'm sure that it can be done for GC and that there should be a way for GCOS to enable the reading of a full size DVD.
We'll see soon enough I'm sure.

I'd love to fit 3 gamecube games on a DVD, Ive ordered 50 DVDs so thatd be great if they can get it done.

you can already fit most of the time 2 if not 3 gc games on the 1.5gb limit with gcm now. Imagine if we had the full 4.37gb

I wouldn't be surprised that it when the Wii is in GameCube mode that it can't read past the 1.4GB limit on the disc even with a drivechip. It would be nice to be proven wrong, though.

good point!!! i never thought of that...well getting 2 possibly 3 games on one dvd is still great

just need confirmation that it works on wii

If it works on GameCube (up to 1.4GB) I'm sure it will work on Wii too. Not that I've ever tried!
