Gaming TomTom Rider - Help Installing Maps

Hey Everyone.

My folks are off to Canada in a few days have being looking into getting a working map on the TomTom Rider they own. I have downloaded a few maps for them and attempted to install them following the vague instructions I have peiced together from various forums... so far all I get is a "No Maps Found" error when I restart the TomTom.

For anyone in the know the steps I have taken are as follows:

Copied the patcher folder to my SD card, patched the mapname.meta file to get the .meta and .meta.dct fiiles
Copied the 2 files back to my maps folder on the TomTom
Patched the system file & moved it back to the TomTom

Any help but be greatly appreciated.

Can't be too specific, but all the latest TomTom maps come with a keygen so they work unpatched.

Whoops, you have v7. I've never tried V7 so I don't know anything about it sorry.
