Hacking Today... Downgrading its... safe?

Anyone with a O3DS and downgraded with Julian sysupdater. Anything was... Ok?
answer on the poll!

Today its the first time that i downgrade a 3DS without a NAND backup. I downgraded 2 O3DS without problem,but today i bought one,it doesnt have a NAND backup and i dont want to fuck it. Today,if i dont do any stupidity,i dont close the console,the SD works well and i use julian sysUpdater,the right downgrade packs and format the console before...
Its safe?

downgrading is never 100% safe, but if you have the correct files etc then you should be fine

without a nand backup you are screwed, but i used that tutorial/files myself on 2 consoles, a 10.6 2ds and a 10.7 o3ds and both went well

do you have access to oot3dshax or ninjahax? because then you are better off updating to 10.7 and downgrading from there.

nvm, didnt know svhax runs on 10.3

Are you sure thats better? I can borrow a friend OOT3D hax if its necessary.

I've downgraded five O3DS and they were all successful.

I downgraded two,but with NAND backups. And i dont want to fuck the one without hardmod. In one i used the first sysupdater,the first day of the downgrade party and in another SafeSysUpdater (but anyone said thats hollyshit).

Are you sure thats better? I can borrow a friend OOT3D hax if its necessary.

nah svchax should run on 10.3 too, keep the oot3d handy just incase you softbrick and have to update trough recovery

I don't think there has been any recent reports of hard bricks when downgrading that weren't user error (using the wrong files). Make sure you have the right files for your system, make sure they copy to the SD fine, and you should be good.

I made a mistake svchax sysupdater can only run on 10.6 and up, so i would recommend getting that oothax and updating to 10.7 to make you chance of bricking smaller.

Downgraded and Updated like 5 times my O3ds Because i failed installing Arm9 Loader hax (Installed Sysnand backup).

As others have said, its never safe. I have done at least 5 units now. 2 soft bricked during the downgrade. 1 was back when you could still update to a browserhax supported version.

I would either hardmod and backup the NAND first, or just make sure you have a copy of OOT (20.00 for the Nintendo Selects version now) and a way to to get the modded save on it, in the event you soft brick and have to update to 10.7.0. (so you can easily try again)
