Hacking To WiiKey Owners

Hey guys ...

Juz wanna ask ... regarding the WiiKey ... A person from Maxconsole forum has raise a question regarding the modchip ... he said that when looking at the WiiKey ... it has written words on the chip ... but his doesn't have ... and it looks like it has been rubbed off ...

I've juz bought my wiikey from Ace Game Store and installed it ... but i've realised the same thing as well ... the chip part looked like it has been rubbed off ... is this normal ?

Any wiikey owner's wiikey have printed text on the wiikey ?

i think the pics are kinda a photochop... from what i've heard NONE have the wiikey logo printed on it.

my first batch had the chip marking removed.

but on the second batch i can just read the chip markings, and some chips also came with solder already in the holes.
I think that is because they test every wiikey before they leave the factory.
and yes, every chip was in its antistatic bag, and i could see a couple of them was already soldered on.
