It's actually fine, I didn't need to. Tinfoil has this bug with current firmware it doesn't affect the switch in any way.

I think it's a known bug on current firmware. Are you on 19.0.1? Tinfoil hasn't been updated to support that firmware. It still says it for me I can start a game and it plays.

I downloaded the 20.0.0 version today and installed 2 game updates afterwards. Both saying the same thing and the games won't start.

On 20.0.0 there's more bugs as for the games not starting could be sigpatches but I would definitely downgrade for now. Just be careful doing that my emunand bricked after downgrade.

I am on fw 19.0.1 but tinfoil v20.0. Sorry for the extra .0 at the end which made it confusing.

Oh ok, I'm on tinfoil 19.0 instead of 20.0 maybe that's a difference? Possibly could be sigpatches not sure.

Might also be my source where I get the files. Reverting back to older updates makes the games playable again. The error doesn't pop up when installing them from sd.
