What's the difference?
I'm confused. What is the one who has the fastest install and the lightest one??
Thanks

I'd like to know more about this too. I think that tik files are known as tickets and let you download things from the eshop after injecting them. CIAs are entire games.

That I don't know, but I don't think that this thread belongs in this section.

.tik are much more convenient to use since all you have to do after having the ticket injected/installed is to just download the game via the eShop. However, I do believe they're risky since I am certain Nintendo keeps records of eShop downloads, and if they spot an illegal activity from said 3DS, they could immediately ban NNID and Console ID.

TIK files are around 2-3KB, so they can easily be downloaded and transferred between consoles. You install them to your NAND (ticket.db) which takes less than a second, and then you can download the software from the eShop for free. You can download multiple things at the same time, and it wont require twice the installation space. It works in sleep mode, too. Also, sinece the data is coming from nintendo, theres no chance of the game bricking you.

CIAs are big, require twice the insdtallation space, take a long time to install, and only 1 can be done at a time. And there's also a chance the game could not work since its coming from a random guy.

Would writing to the NAND so many times be dangerous?

I have links and videos on my youtube channel.

Would writing to the NAND so many times be dangerous?
Possibly, but at most it would only corrupt your ticket.db.

require twice the insdtallation space
I don't know if this one still relevant
The other day i installed MMLC with the size around 450MB, and my SD only has 800MBs
On FBI (post 2.0 release) i pick install and delete CIA and it installs while also deleting the CIA, so it doesn't need extra space anymore
About other things about CIA, i agree, especially the last part, if it's a bad CIA, then you're pretty much screwed.
