Hello Forums!
I'm thinking about buying NES-Remix from Best-Buy to bring back those old classics and perhaps get one for my friend! Does anyone own this game? Does it run well? I'm very eager to get my hands on it

Yes. The 3DS version runs well, though I don't own it. I've only played it.
Every game on NES Remix 1 and 2 for Wii U was fun*, and Ultimate NES Remix contains all the best games from both of them.

*except golf. FUCK GOLF.

Sweet! I'm going to watch some videos on it so I can see the performance!

May I ask WHY you don't have it!? Do you realize you have sinned?!
Well, I don't like to have physical copies of all my games, so I wanted to get the eshop version. But that's around the same time the eshop spoofer stopped working, so I couldn't get it. One of the many perks of being on 9.9! :P

Thanks for following BTW!

Whats the EShop spoofer? Does that get you *Ahem* "Paid" games?
Oh and Np, you seem like a nice dude

No, of course not. I am VERY against piracy. The eshop spoofer was created by Smealum (who is very important in the 3DS hacking scene.) as a way to access the eshop on a lower firmware. Nothing else.

Oh I know who Smealum is haha. He is an idol to us hackers xD In fact, I accidentally updated my firmware, so I got rid of TubeHax. ASPIRE MY GENIUSNESSES!! I have a problem with pirating sometimes. I'm still working on it. Its a work in progress!

Not a lot of people know this, but Smea was also the one who leaked the Pokemon Diancie, Hoopa, and Volcanion two years ago.

Yep. Smea has been very prominent in the 3DS hacking scene, even before he released Ninjhax.
I've known about him since his first hack came out (That being the 3DS hack) and that was years ago. I would remember researching him all the time just to find a leak to his hack. I would check if he came out with any updates like every other day.

I own it and have played it pretty extensively.

If you know what you're getting into, it's pretty fun.

You'll have a lot of really straightforward "Do XXX without getting hit/moving backwards/etc" challenges, where they just drop you into a random part of a level, Wario Ware style.

There unfortunately aren't as many crazy "remix style" things as I would have liked.

Same. Although I couldn't get Cubic Ninja until recently because of how expensive it is, and I was > 9.2. At least my 2DS has kernel access.

Sounds pretty good to me! Any form of remix seems pretty fun! At least Nintendo is doing something slightly retro right? haha

Oh, it's totally retro, and a lot of fun if you're way into NES games. Just go into it expecting a lot of straight up type challenges and fewer "insane mix up" things and you'll have a better time.

Retro games are the BOMB. I'll be sure to expect those! Hopefully they don't make it too easy B-)

When you're in a battle in ORAS, the FPS goes from like 60 to 20 instantly. Its so weird
