We adopted a kitty from the animal shelter. We named her Nana. Her whole litter was found dumped in a parking lot.

She was spayed yesterday morning so she's isolated for now due to pain meds and the big sister she met yesterday who was not especially pleased about this addition to the family. (but I think it'll get better once Nana's shelter stink is gone)

Somehow snagged an OEM GBA to GC link cable for 20 bucks. Also bought an ETH2SP1 on AliExpress to get the Ethernet port on my GameCube, I hear there's rom hacks that allows Kirby Air Ride and MKDD to be playable online. Might also try out PSO as I have NEVER played PSO at all.

True, but it also allows for FTP... but only as a client, not server.

Also, the MKDD mod can be found here, all sources I could find only pointed to a Discord server (eww) whereas this has public downloads.

Came across a bunch of Qposket dollies for €5-10 and had to buy a few. Got my kids a bunch of Disney ones, and got mommy Misato for myself.

Made myself a cheap Retroid or Ayn or whatever for 20€:

Old Redmi Note 11 on cRDroid 12.11 (Android 16) (SoC Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 and 4GiB of RAM) and a cheap BSP-D11 stretchable game pad.

So far it plays everything up to the PSP with full performance. PS2 games not so much, but all the GameCube ones i've tested run at 60fps once the shaders are compiled.

I forgot to charge my e-bike, so I had to take the bus to work today. On my way to work, I stopped by a mall because it's faster for me to cut through it to get my second bus than to walk around the mall. Anyway, there's an Asian market/grocery store there, and I used to stop by all the time to get lunch. But today, I found a new Buldak noodle flavor I'd never seen and had to get.

Apparently, it's a sweet and spicy chicken flavor. From what I've read online, people are saying it has a milder spicy flavor but is definitely sweet like BBQ sweet, and I don't know how much I'd like it because I usually get the spicier kind.

For £6.50 I have no complaints.

Finally got my GCMCE in the mail. I guess all I'm missing at this point is my ETH2SP1 to come in, getting a set of GameCube component cable from BitFunx and getting a GameBoy Player to have a solid GameCube setup.

Just noticed my yellow bar things at the front where the wrong way around on mine after seeing yours, so just flipped them. I was surprised by how big it was once built, I thought, £6.50, probably not that big, now I have to find somewhere to put it, Aliexpress not lego could end up being dangerous for my wallet.

I felt the same way when i saw the Steven Universe not LEGO sets at the dollar store a few years ago. Building the sets is fun! Finding a place to put the finished build? Harder than it seems!

I planned on getting the S27 Ultra, but the constant talks of price rises and a sale made me upgrade sooner.

Also picked up a modxo from AliExpress, seems to be working but I need to mod it for RGB and it's hard to tell where the exact solder joint is for my revision.

It'll be for a fun cheap cosplay (the Gundam stuff). I had fun with the helmet trying on the Gundam jacket. The shield bag is also pretty fun and useful for other stiff (can easily fit a steam deck and switch 2).

The helmet is pretty sick. It also has more lights and makes noise too if I touch the sides of the helmet.
