Finally had a bit of money come in yesterday so grabbed a Switch 2. I know what a lot of people here would say about that but I honestly don't care, I like it. I feels like a good upgrade from the NS1 and I can actually join my wife on Fortnite without looking at a textureless hellscape.

Got myself another 2nd hand Mario game. This time the NSMB U deluxe. I really liked the base game on the Wii U but never got to finish it, so maybe now is the time lol (who am i kidding, with the size of my backlog i will be playing this on the Switch 3, with any luck :P :P )

It did get a resolution boost on Switch 2, so that's kinda nice too. Very fun game in my mind. Art style is a bit tired (especially next to Wonder) but man some S tier level design. Peachette controls are very fun too, even if they do make things a little easier.

I also prefer the graphics of SM Wonder. In fact i think they are the best ones any "classic" Mario games have. That game is a work of art.

Bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 44mm as it's on sale.

Currently I have a Ticwatch 3 Pro, but it's really feeling it's age now (nearly 5 years) and regularly plays up which for something I rely on daily is a problem. Things like poor OS update support and the use of physical contacts for charging put me off getting a newer model, shame as the dual displays and build quality I like.

After 15 days sorting and selecting the pieces of my set, finding «missing» pieces which where replaced by similar ones or a piece which originally was separated pieces and on my set is just a piece, and another 3 nights assembling and 3d printing pieces now I have a new and flamboyant Dark Falcon!!

Thanks a lot to @Veho for the link and all the hours of happiness.

I am smiling like 4 years old boy.

My Ticwatch Pro 3 died a while ago, might just be the battery I never checked, but I got a Galaxy Watch 8 recently and am really happy with the upgrade - enjoy!

For a little pokemon automation project...

Driven by python on pc, sending commands via usb to pico1, triggering pico2 (https://gp2040-ce.info/) via gpio.
Soft resetting, boot game, enter inputs, let python look at color of pixel on screen (via OBS), do something, repeat...
Now just finding time to set it all up...

Another Bee controller 🐝 🖤💛
This one supposedly has working turbo fire, which the one I got off eBay doesn't, plus this is in prettier condition

And while I was getting stuff shipped from Japan, I got a cheap TOTK cart, just over 20 quid, which is way less than they go for here

Probs not gonna start playing it again until we get a Switch 2, but we could get around to that any time tbh, especially if there's a good Metroid bundle

Bought some Christmas gifts: for my niece, a 6" cinnamon roll plush; for the older nephew, I got him Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection on PS4; and for the younger nephew, I ordered him a HG Gunpla mystery box.

The store I usually order Gunpla from decided to start selling Gunpla mystery boxes, and they had them for 40% off, so I got him a $100 mystery box for $60. I'm guessing it will come with 3-4 HG kits.

Still going to buy them some more gifts. The boys some clothes now, and the girl, I'll get her another toy or two and some clothes.

Just got a brand new Motorola razr 2025. I fucking LOVE Motorola. I was here for the first ever RAZR, and I am here for it now. My camera is not scratched. I haz a kitteh. Moar fur everywhere.
