Well besides the fact its a PCI card the drivers wont work on anything modern, that and anything built in these days is actually probably better than that card, built in audio came a long way since then, but that said, DAC or other ext amp is still the way to go these days

The later Turtle Beach cards use the Aureal Vortex which isn't very good when it comes to DOS gaming.

Didn't plan on buying another PS4, but a seller messaged me with a photo that shows it has 8.01 so I went for it. I'm supposed to be reducing my game collection than somewhat increasing it. 😅

Anyway, went to church today for the first time in many years and it felt peaceful and homey. Will be going from now on.

While you're there you could pray for the strength to stop buying PS4s?

Excellent! That's a good thing you are doing for yourself (the church bit). Catholic? Protestant? Other? Just asking chief. :)

I've been now looking for the front panel for this sound card, but frankly they're hard to find, whilst also being expensive. :(
There are even no drivers for Windows 98SE, but that doesnt matter since I'm gonna be using it on WinXP anyways.

TUF Gaming Router AX4200. I was using a AC1750 rated router as a wireless bridge.

Now i just gotta get an AX5400 router also from ASUS to replace the AX1500 router from TP-Link in the living room, since it would also let me experiment with mesh WiFi.

I wanted a dedicated PC to run some small multiplayer servers for a while now, and this thing went on sale for cheap. Ryzen 5 Pro 2400GE, now with 16GB ram and some decently fast storage.

Slapped Linux Mint and Steam onto it, and now it's sitting in a corner, happily chugging along hosting a starbound server for myself and a few friends, freeing up my Steam Deck that had the questionable honor of doing that previously when I wasn't using it elsewhere.

Ordered on Prime Day sale a Dual Fan Airbrush Spray Booth, a new desk chair for my hobby shed, and some Rollerblade wheels for it. Also ordered one of those PC screen lamps. I use a USB-C powered lamp next to my PC when I play at night, but the lamp is the one I use when I build model kits, so I would rather not be constantly moving it back and forth.
