BC's Quest For Tires was one of the first video games I ever played, and I've wanted such a wheel ever since.

And when I saw these uni/mono wheels popping up, it was literally a childhood dream coming true.

I still don't have one but some day...

GOG was having a sale, so I got Alien Breed + Tower Assault, F.E.A.R. Platinum, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Tomb Raider: Underworld, and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. Daggerfall was free, and I already own F.E.A.R. Platinum on Steam, but I'll take a DRM-free version for $2. I got everything for just under $8 (Canadian) after tax.

My parents’ neighbour was having a clear out, so I got some fun retro junk!

Highlights are definitely a boxed Game Boy Camera and Amiga 500.

It's pretty bad here as well, at lease where I live. I have to rent a room from my sister cause I can't afford $2-3k rent a month for a piece of shit apartment. It's crackhead central in my city as well and that's not a joke. It doesn't help that we have essentially a catch and release for any crimes that isn't murder.

I'd take that over Trump and his crew of assholes any day of the week.

I'd even bring the crack!

SylverReZ how the hell do you react to a post so fast? Personally, I think you're an alien...

Saw a video of the Game Boy Printer back in 2010 and I thought it was so cool seeing my photos being printed out on the Game Boy. Went ahead and ordered one several years later for when it was cheap compared to now where you could be paying £45 for the printer alone. The printer came with two rolls of thermal paper in the box.

Unfortunately, I don't have this anymore because it's a lot easier to save my photos from the Game Boy Camera.

Never seen the camera, but I know it's a real product. It'd be fun to see some developers come up with some similar gizmos fort the Steam Deck & the Ally. Now that I mention it, what MS has (supossedly) in-store for a hand-held also seems like it might be an independent hand-held gaming pc...

I’ve got the camera too. I actually used it as a webcam for a while because I have a consolised GBA with HDMI output lol

Jesus!!! What's the resolution on a camera like that... 1?

Fancied practicing some soldering, so I got this:
DIY Calculator Electronic Production Kit LED Digital Tube Display With Shell Single-Chip Microcomputer Soldering Practice Kit
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGD4W00

Note: I've since seen it cheaper elsewhere on the site.

That is AWESOME! I need to do some soldering myself, problem is, I've never done it before, I'm a total no0b. I have to replace 5 chips in my Atari 5200 due to some issues with both of my controllers that are, at heart, rooted in the system itself. That's a good idea, and a great item to work on! And what do you mean you found it somewhere else on the site that's cheaper, the damned thing costs .99 cents!!!

Currently away from home, but if I find some time when I’m back on Monday I’ll try to get a picture of how it is lol

How well does HL Alyx work with that headset?

Disclaimer: I have not played around with SteamVR and Alyx before.

It works well based on the little time I've spent. When the combine appeared, it felt as if they were really there, it was very immersive.

I need to cable manage my setup properly to run it though as I felt I could trip over at any time.

The instructions haven't had any more specific progress points like they did with the first two layers, but I decided it was about time to get some progress shots anyway.

This is when I finished the Lost Woods, you can also see the cute little castle is finished, plus progress on the mountain etc
