Here's a thought. Instead of a set of four moves, why not have "memory points" to distribute any way you want between as many moves you want, or something like that. With memory points, you could choose between having a lot of weak attacks, or one or two very strong attacks. You'd get "memory points" with experience. Additionally, you would get extra points if you win a battle using weaker moves, or, on the other hand, you could get bonus points to a skill if it's already a strong move (meaning you could focus on one move and build it up). I don't know what would be better there.

Things Nintendo can NOT include in the next Pokémon:
HMs.

I am sick of wasting one of your four limited move slots on a mandatory move in one of the six concurrent Pokémon that you can carry around with you. And as if that's not bad enough, they decided to include even more of them in this version of the game. Outrageous!

It should be that you can use talents such as Fly when you get a certain number of gym badges, sure, but you should not then have to waste a move slot to allocate it -- any flying Pokémon should be able to perform the move at that point. Or any other system that does not require desecrating your limited move roster.

You have expressed that perfectly.

completely agreed.

I think there should be a way that the person in the game could be customized but only the clothing like in your secret base you can change clothes and stuff. There should be a phone to call people like in g/s/c and like before more than one region. One more thing battles in the pokemon contests!

* have 6 instead of 4 attacks for more variety in game

* more cities and gyms in one region

* make an elite 6 instead of 4, it's not enough (if you challenge 1 by 1 and they have all 2 types of pkmn should be ok

* make more unlockables

* more split evolves (like froslass and glalie, gallade and gardevoir)

* ALL types of eevee evolves

* starters need 4 evolutions : 1 on lvl 18, 1 on lvl 36 and 1 on lvl 50

THAT WOULD MAKE THE GAME EVEN BETTER
