Absolutely nothing, without CFW you are just way too limited in options, especially if on latest firmware. However the only thing you should still do is something you do during the start of the process of installing CFW and that is backing up your CTR-NAND from when it's clean (meaning before you install CFW), as that simplifies the process of returning to stock by a LOT (it's literally 5 minutes of waiting and you are back to stock), whereas other methods can be more troublesome. Besides making that one backup, there's absolutely nothing you should bother yourself with before CFW.
And the backup I mentioned isn't even that necessary, just nice to have in case you want to return to stock if you plan to send it in Nintendo Service with the warranty or something for repairs, as I've had a CFWed system returned once without repairs so depending on who handles it they may refuse to fix hardware issues by claiming you violated the warranty or other BS (even though they are in the wrong).
