sorry to everyone, this is in french, however, i'll resume the main point of this video.
The guy here share a theory where the Link we see in BOTW is the one who got defeated by Ganon in Ocarina of time. In short, Ganondorf defeated Link, took the triforce of courage and wisdom, and had an immense power. The sages still managed tyo seal Ganondorf away.
Then, the sages, who knew the seal wouldnt last forever, decided to preserve Link's body for future uses when Ganondorf would be freed.
Notice that the first place shown in the game is the Chamber of resurection.
So this game is in the Fallen Hero Timeline.
Ganondorf having the whole triforce, sages knew that it was matter of time before he destroy the seal to free himself. Link being the only one who can really stop Ganon, they knew they had to preserve his body, otherwise, there wouldnt have any Link descending.

LINK WITH OCARINA OF TIME :
Temple of time is the same in BOTW and OOT
Fountain near the Temple that was at the center of Hyrule city
Description of the Sheika Tablet :
A mysterious tablet with a glowing center. You've never seen this device before, and yet... there's something familiar about it.
Means he might have know something in the past about sheikas
Ganon appearance : same eyes, same horns same shape
Gerudo appear in the game (exterminated in child timeline)
Deku Tree, he says, you don't recognize me? Of course we dont, since he still was a sprout when we first met him (OoT)

WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS NEW ZELDA :
Ganondorf broke the seal and destroyed the new city of Hyrule
The Zelda in BOTW is very different from the one in OoT, meaning she probably hasn't been preserved like Link
The old man we saw few time (5:58) is probably the King of Hyrule, father of Zelda. Could be the Red boat from WW, but an alternate version (alternate reality)

MASTER SWORD AND ITS LINK WITH GAMES :
Zelda probably retrieved the Master Sword after Link got defeated and brought it to one of the last barrier against the darkness : Kokiri Forest.
The reason why the Temple of time is destroyed in BOTW is because Ganondorf wanted to destroy the Master Sword, the first place he though where it could be was it.
Remember that after the death of Deku Tree, the forest got invaded by monster. But now that a new Deku Tree was born, Princess Zelda brought the MAster Sword so it could protect it from Ganondorf.
Notice that the Master Sword in BOTW is rusty. The reason is because it is no longer protected from aging like when it was in Temple of Time. In Twilight Princess, it wasnt rusty, but it still got the benefit of the Temple of Time even if it got destroyed.
For the Wind Waker Timeline, the castle of Hyrule got destroyed, so it might have been rebuilt over the ruin of the Temple of time.
It would also explain why we retrieve the Master Sword in the Lost Wood in A Link to the Past and A Link Between World

    CREATURE AND THEIR EVOLUTION :
Kokiri adapted themselves in Wind Waker and became Korok because of the vast ocean flooding Hyrule.
So why are there Korok in BOTW? The reason is that maybe because Ganondorf is slaying all Hylian, they decided to turn back to their original form (Korok) to hide from him.

SHEIKAS ROLE IN THE GAME :
WARNING : THIS IS PURELY THEORIC!!!
Sheikas might be ennemies of Link in this game. Why?
We see Link fighting one in the trailer (12:40)
Also, in one of the first trailer, we see a Sheikas eye droping a tear, which transform into blood and pictures of war.
We also know that the main force of Ganondorf, the Gerudos, allied with Hyrule Forces. So Ganondorf is left without an army
He might have took the Mirror of Twilight and released the Twili, aka the remaining and banished Sheikas. They allied with Ganondorf in order to get their revenge against Hyrule.

So, what are your though about this theory?

I'm guessing that timeline wise this is meant to fit between Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, as a fourth branch that solves the "What if Ganondorf was sealed again and the Great Flood never happened?"

Link win and Ganondorf sealed in Sacred Realm = Wind Waker
Link win and Ganondorf sealed in Twilight Realm = Majora's Mask/Twilight Princess
Link lose and Ganondorf is sealed in Sacred Realm = A Link to the past
What do yoiu mean between OoT and WW?

I am baffled by the notion that the Zelda games need to fit on a timeline.

Last week i reopened my Hyrule Historia just because off that trailer.
Before it, i thought it was the "Link lose" timeline, but seeing the trailer, i'm more declined to the Majora's Mask continuation, since Termina seemed to be a "link is dead, is just a dream" i think "MAYBE" (salt overdose here, please) Termina is the dream in the Chamber of Resurrection, link actually was found safe and sound in the woods were Termina adventure starts, but seeing that Ganondorf got the power finally, and that link didn't were in Temple of time which made him older, only solution was to the Sheikas protect Link at any costs, even if it mean the destroy of Hyrule, and the release of Ganon.

    SO, to make things clear:
Link wins over Ganondorf in OOT, leaves the Master Sword, Temple of Time and the Triforce safe; while traveling, 3 things happen: Ganondorf gets the Triforce, Link gets attacked, Sheikas find him and bring him to the Ressurrection Chamber (falls in a dream: "Majora's Mask"). Time goes by, and Link founds himself revived in a Hyrule where Great Deku is again Great, and he has the Master Sword because of Zelda.

The big flying airship could be the City in the Sky from Twilight Princess, and that would make conection back to the series, no?

If i left something, would be glad to hear opinions, of course ^^

in majora mask timeline, link in OOT, after successfully defeating ganon in the adult timeline, goes back in time, and prevent ganondorf rise by warning the princess or so. ganondorf tried to claim the triforce, but that is most likely after link went on the journey to find what he lost. that is why there was no report of an earlier link preventing ganondorf from claiming the triforce in TTP. and the sages definately didnt look like those in OOT, cause saria and co werent summoned to be sages. the sages that were summoned, after ganondorf got the triforce of power, sealed him the the twilight realm. so far, your theory seems to keep to the timeline except for this. the OOT hero returned in TTP as an undead, and trained the wolf hero. so we can assume that the hero of time died in his own time, but with some regrets. the sealing of ganondorf came parallel to MM or shortly after that, cause ganondorf shouldnt be long lived that he could stay hundreds of years without the triforce.
i personally would place this game a few centuries after four swords, which is after TTP. because ganondorf here is ganon, whose form is the calamity ganon. he feels closer to the phantom ganon than beast ganon, so most likely it is a corrupted ganon that was reincarnated or resurrected. ganondorf died in the TTP, and was reincarnated in the four swords era, but every reincarnation of ganon causes ganondorf to fade, while demise grows stronger( from the era of decline). so now he is a calamity.

Ganondorf breaks out of his seal between OoT and WW. The people wait for the hero to save them, when no hero comes they pray to the Godesses and their solution is to flood Hyrule. I'm guessing that this game is supposed to reveal that the hero was sealed as well, but something went wrong with resurrecting him in the Wind Waker timeline, so we'll get another split where things went right

He could be regretting his unability to stop Ganondorf to get the triforce, even warning Zelda.
And TTP Ganondorf is not the same Ganondorf the Hero of Time faced, iirc, so reincarnation could work there.

I'm fairly certain he's the same one?... He's getting executed for his crimes in OoT, right?

the TTP ganondorf is the same as the OOT one. he was sealled after his attempt on the triforce when link wasnt around. link and zelda can be reincarnated as human because of the power of the goddess, and the curse of demise. also they are all from the bloodline of the original hero and goddess, esp zelda, all zeldas are princesses, or a special youth who inherits the triforce of courage, the links .demise only reincarnates as ganon, and the human reincarnation of demise is ganondorf. all reincarnations are ganons or uses some of the power of ganon. ganondorf existed in 3 timelines, because of the OOT hero breaking time, not because of a human reincarnation.
also the TTP ganondorf was sealed during MM, or shortly after that, during his natural lifespan.

i said sealed because, although they tried executing him, when they failed and realised he had the triforce of power, they sealed him.. him not mutating like the other resident may be due to ganon and the triforce

Does Nintendo really care about Zelda's story and timelines between different entries on the series? Doesn't seems so.

And what about a post Skyward Sword game?
Specifically on the Era of Prosperity, before The Minish Cap.

-Calamity Ganon not have a physical form (not Ganondorf yet, first "incarnation" of Demise)
-Hylia Godess statue on the Temple of Time
-Zelda's ceremonial clothes and accesories from SS ceremonies
-The Great Plateau maybe is Neburia after landing, corrupted after centuries

    Just saying

Well there can't be different Links, Zeldas and Ganondorfs without a timeline. Zelda games are like pieces of a puzzle. It's fascinating to try to piece them together.

the era of chaos would be when ganon rampaged, and then the era of prosperity would be after he is sealed again. but there are a few contradictions. the races. some of them do not exist then. the koroks , zoras and the ritos only existed during or after OOT. the deku tree also.

Maybe the Kokiris always has been koroks, and the Deku Tree magic make them appears like children to the eyes of Link (oot). Naaaaaaaaaaaaah
There is a mix of things that won't fit in the chronology... maybe is a new timeline based on events we don't now yet.

There is a lot of maybes in all of this... maybe we just have to wait the game been released and play it along

Yes, i've read back that, and seems to be correct, yes, but maybe we're staring a new timeline depending if Ganondorf was dead in the execution, or was sealed, that would be my only option.

@Patodox the Deku Tree would have to know first Link, and it's not in SS (right?)

Maybe is a fourth branch, were Link wins, but the Sages can't seal him.

IDK, there are signal from every timeline, better we wait the game launches
