Hacking Themes problem.

I have a problem with the themes, everytime i access the eshop on emunand the theme return to the default one and when I try to change it again, they're gone. In addition, I need to wipe the data from the options otherwise the memory won't be restored.

Weird... Is it an official or a custom theme ? What data do you need to wipe ? What memory are you trying to restore ?

They're official themes, the data of the themes themself, the memory of the 3DS SD card; if I don't wipe the data it won't free up (i.e. I had 500 mb in the SD before installing the themes, i put the .cia of the themes and another .cia with a total of 400 mb, after exiting the shop the themes weren't available anymore but the SD was still occupied with the memory of the themes, even though i cancelled the .cia). I hope I was clear enough to make you understand.

How about your other apps, do they disappear aswell, or only the themes ?

Yea it happens. Don't worry about it just know you have to reinstall themes every time.

I think that DLCs & themes only get deleted if you have a NNID setup in your emunand. If your emunand doesn't have a NNID, going into eshop won't delete the DLCs and themes.

I tested this with two 3DSs, both using GW, emunand 9.5, sysnand 4.2. The only difference between the two is one has NNID in emunand, the other doesn't. The one without an NNID doesn't get its DLC and themes deleted. The DLC I tested with is mii force. I also noticed that when mii force gets deleted on the 3ds with NNID, after I reinstall mii force, the save is still there. I don't know if this works for all DLCs though.

You can try doing system format from emunand. For me, I got emunand without NNID from a 3dsxl that came with 4.5 natively (no downgrade)

I tried downgrading a 9.2 3ds with NNID to 4.2, setting up emumand, upgrading emumand to 9.5, but it remembered my nnid
