I swear other types of control emulation needs to be put into Bloopair, even more now with the new Koopair. Being able to emulate a Wiimote+Nunchuk with a DS4, or a a Classic with an Xbox controller for vWii. I hope this can be achieved soon
Yes, a WiiMote Emulator in the same way is done with Dolphin, where you can use any Gamepad an assign the wiimote buttons/movements.

Tool Request I desperately want... an app to allow me to use a Doulshock 4 or Switch Pro controller as a GC controller or a Wii classic controller in vWii, be it wired or wireless, I wanna be able to play Wii games that support either the GC or the Wii classic controller with a Doulshock 4 or a Switch Pro controller, thanks.

I'm aware of fakemlte but I'm yet to find an easy to follow video tutorial that is in English, only one I found was in Spanish, following a vague written tutorial did not encourage me to wanna risk damage my vWii experimenting with something like this.

You can use ModMii

I agree, I mean Hid2VPAD already has support to emulate the WiiU gamepad to a DS4, I wonder if Blupair could support vWii mode.

I don't feel encouraged to miss with fakemote, not unless a full English easy to follow video tutorial is made, looks fairly complicated and experimental and I'm way too poor to afford missing with that, I rather just use Wii remotes at this point tbh.

Modmii got an update so this shouldn't be true anymore

Does anyone know if there's an Aroma app that can install vWii .wads (like IOSes)? This would be extremely useful to repair vWii IOSes if it's bricked (like IOS80) since ModMii can now download vWii IOSes, instead of using vWii Decaffeinator which requires disabling update blockers.

A homebrew that let's you set a game's default language individually.
It loads a list of every game installed (like saveMii) you pick a game from that list and it modifies its meta.xml default_language line.

Okay, here's my pitch for Wii U controller support on vwii/Wii (I'm not sure if it goes both ways but but especially vWii)

As someone who owns a wii U with pro controllers, Me and a lot of other Wii U owners could benefit from the ability to use our pro controllers in Wii games, the same we we can use them in Gamecube injects. As far as I know, the controllers have limited use in the vwii's homebrew apps and 8bitdo's wireless connecter seems to do the trick, but if there was a way to spend less money and do it with simply making some homebrew that imitates either a Gamecube controller or a connected classic controller, that would be sweet. I don't think anyone should go out of their way to buy 4 more controllers if it means you'll only use them for one variety of play, especially when you have controllers that would be perfect for the game you're playing on (also since Gamecube controllers are a rarity) which is why I believe this will further benefit the community not just on an individual convenience level, but also showing that the Wii U/Wii is a behemoth when it comes to multiplayer accessibility.

There's also a plethora of games that would benefit from this:

Castlevania Judgement
Smash Bros. Brawl
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
Guilty Gear XX Accent Plus
Dragonball Budokai Tenkaichi 2 & 3
GoldenEye 007
Sonic Colors, Unleashed
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Rayman Origins
the COD games
Valhalla Knights
Rune Factory Frontier
Zangeki no Reginliev (for those who know)
Shiren the Wanderer
Harvest Moon
etc.

So many games could get the attention they deserve again, just by giving them this level of accessibility. I truly believe if we give this attention, more people will start going for a Wii U over a Wii for backwards compatibility. Almost any game runs well with Wii U pro controllers. Maybe we can do something like a Bloopair for vWii? I don't know if nintendont operates on Wii VC injects but if it does all the better.

There is an experimental version of TCPGecko for Aroma, known as arGecko. Can be found here: https://git.sr.ht/~quarky/arGecko

Don't know how well it works, haven't used TCPGecko codes with any Wii U games in years at this point, but if this is as effective in Aroma as TCPGecko code loading was on Tiramisu or earlier, than this should get the job done for you.

i think i went to that page, but i am so unfamiliar with that i didn´t even know how to download the files from there, and i still don´t know how to download it!
i feel so stupid! imagine if i have to try to install it, i did a search on google and found nothing or no tutorial on how to make it work. So i ended up leaving it there.

about 4 years ago i used cheats on zelda wind waker and i think it was on tiramisu, and it was the only time i did it, too complicated, you needed to have a pc running a program to apply the cheats on the fly on the wii u.

too complex for me if there is no clear tutorial or video, besides a program where you can just put a txt file with the codes like we did on the Wii would be amazing.

Hi there,

I’d like to request a small utility/homebrew app for the Wii U that solves a very specific problem: The Wii U sensor bar only powers on under certain conditions (usually when a Wii Remote is paired and in active use). This makes it very difficult to use the Wii U sensor bar as an IR source for Dolphin on PC

Could someone develop a simple Wii U homebrew app that:
  • Powers on the sensor bar when launched, and keeps it on.
  • Does not require a paired Wiimote.
  • Ideally runs from the Wii U menu (not vWii mode) for ease of use.
  • Optionally keeps the system from sleeping while the bar is active.

how about Retroarch like shaders as an Aroma app so you can apply shaders to any game. for instance, I'd love to be able to apply CRT shaders to games you play via the Wii U menu, since it's quicker to launch vc games from there instead of loading into retroarch

I feel like a port of Deltarune could definitely be achievable, alongside the recent Gamecube decompilations we've seen (Mario Party 4 and Animal Crossing.)
Duckstation would also be nice to have for the Wii U.

Would love to see a few of the ports that Vita has gotten if they're capable of running on WiiU

Mainly
Super Mario World
Zelda3
Perfect Dark

Also the recent Mario Kart 64 port, which isn't on Vita yet, but seems achievable if we have Ship of Harkinian, right?
