So here's a serious history to a not so serious thread.
When this thread was made, it was made a joke thread to counter the ever looming "Pokefloods." Back then whenever anything was announced about Pokemon, this site became flooded with so many users/guests/bots, that the servers would actually start to lag and even crash. Once the games were dumped, they always came with an AP, which just made this site an unbearable nightmare for regulars. Literal hundreds of threads would be made about the AP, "My game boots to a black screen?!" "I'm not getting exp!" "Is there an R4 patch yet?!?" The actual main site would be rendered impossible to navigate due to the sheer number of Pokemon threads that were being made and bumped. Seriously new threads would end up with literally 10 pages in a matter of minutes, before getting locked or removed.
That's where this thread came in. This thread was simply made in the safest place on the Temp, since no one taking part in the Pokeflood ever went past the NDS section. I made this as a mock apocalyptic bunker. Basically we treated every Pokemon release as if it were the apocalypse and this was our bunker. Basically it was made to users to play out a mock apocalypse for the fun of mocking big releases.
Now it's more or less just a safe place for users to mock basically anything popular or current events. Right now it's the safe place to hide out the Switch Hack and Spambots.
