are you saying that i can create my own custom named folder inside content0 folder and a mod will work? so i can create a folder named "xxxx" put the converted xml files inside and the game will load those mods?

The reason I asked is because looking at the structure of the converted mods i want to use, they filenames are the same: "effects.xml" and they are both inside "abilities_plus" folder which in turn is inside "gameplay" folder which i suppose will have to go inside content0 folder. see example below.

i was thinking that both mods should be contained in one xml file, but the way i understood your reply is that i just need to create a different folder for one or rename the folder "gameplay" of the other to whatever name i want?
