ROM Hack Question The Outer Worlds Save Transfer PC to Switch

Hey everyone,

anyone know if it is possible to use my old PC saves from xbox gamepass on PC on the new switch version? File directory layout seems to be the same, except on pc one file is called SaveGame.dat and on switch it is SavedState.dat. but simply copying one over to the other doesnt work. it is shown ingame but i can't use it, it won't load.

maybe someone has a hint for me.

Hi, I did it by myself but from Steam save file to Switch.
In order to work the save file should be a JSON structure in both platforms, in my case the save file is called: "data.owsave"

If you want I can share here what I did. let me know.

I don't know about steam but my gamepass safes are not readable json files. They are 450kb of encoded rubbish. you think that works too?

can you share the file? or what's exactly that you see inside the file?
