So Nintendo have looked at us, the early adopters, and said "Lo, a bunch of fanboys are bitching at each other all over the 'temp about whether it was a waste of money or not when the Vita shall be the same price. We must drop the price, but how to appease the fanboys?"
Some bright spark decided that 20 free games was a good idea. I think they were right.
We know they've gone down the fanboy appeasing route with 10 of the games including the 3 (4 with Mario Kart) biggest franchises, but what of the others?

Speculation only, please- no 'u can emulate on da psp' as WE KNOW THAT, WE POST HERE!

I'd like to see (though it's doubtful) the GBA LttP- we are already getting Four Swords for free, so why not?
ONM, this morning when it first was reported, had the GBA port of Yoshi's Island in place of Warioware- it has been changed now, hastily (if you look on the site they've spammed a bunch of keys in their haste to replace it)- could this be one of them?

Or do we reckon it will be 10 pointless games that never sold?

I wants me some Minish Cap!

I hope Mario&Luigi will be free, too.
I absolutely loved the DS Games but I never played the first game, because I never owned a GBA.

This. I've played it before, but I wouldn't mind beating it again.

One NES game I'd like to see is Mega Man 2. I doubt that will happen though, because it seems that all of the free games are Nintendo published.

Well, really... If they put in the two Golden Sun games, or any of the Advance Wars/Fire Emblem games... I'd be extremely happy.

I am hoping for Pokemon and Golden Sun.
Thats gonna be overkill

.

I doubt advance wars and fire emblem, they're too "hardcore" for this I think... mario and luigi, mario golf, mario tennis... such games are more likely in my oppinion.

(but I hope for fire emblem and advance wars)

and you say that they changed yoshi's island to warioware? I see both...

Both golden sun games and mario and luigi superstars would be the bees kness
And some zelda i have only played phantom hourglass

Thus far, the games announced seem to be exclusively first party offerings. The question would be whether the remaining 5 NES and 5 GBA games could include 2nd or 3rd party games, like stuff from either Camelot or perhaps Konami.

I'm hoping for Golden Sun. Though i expect them to release only the first game for free, seems like they'd want to entice you with the second game for money later on. Perhaps we'll get a Castlevania game if 3rd parties allow it. Mario & Luigi would be wonderful too.

Could be that nintendo are negotiating with 2nd/3rd parties atm, hence why only 10 games are currently listed, and why they're all first party. (hopes)

I hope for Metroid (NES) and Metroid Zero Mission. The Castlevania games for GBA would be awesome too, but I doubt it cause they are third party games.

well nintendo have announced only 6 of the 10 gba games they will be releasing, i am not sure what the others will be, all the games they have there i like so that's a good thing, we will just have to wait for the other 4 to be announced.

Oh Advance Wars would be awesome! I nearly completed it and my GF knocked coffee all over the Cart (which I had stupidly left next to the Kettle), and I never re-bought it as the DS came out. Why did Kettle warrant a capital letter? I don't know....

So do I now, still says 5 games though lists six?!

This is Nintendo's way of giving a gift to those who paid full price so I'm kinda assuming they're all going to be Nintendo titles as opposed to 2nd/3rd party. Especially the GBA games since they won't be available for purchase by the general public. If they were going to include 2nd/3rd party titles, I feel they might as well have just given points to use in the E-shop so you can get whatever games you wanted.

My Guesses/desires:

NES:
Kirby Adventure
Super Mario 3
Punch Out
Kid Icarus
Unsure: Zelda 2, Super Mario 2, Metroid, or Tetris

GBA
Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green (50% chance of either).
Zelda Minish Cap
Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga
Advance Wars 2
Mother 3 (finally officially translated) (I can dream right?)
If Mother 3 or Earthbound 2 or whatever is too unlikely then one of the Golden Sun games or Wario Land 4

(the reason i don't think it would Ruby and Sapphire is because of Emerald, if Nintendo is going to offer Emerald the game with more features, then everyone would just want that game, and no one is going to want Ruby or Sapphire, but you need to have Ruby and Sapphire if you want to trade and catch them all, I'm also assuming here that they will add some sort of wireless multiplayer function for the GBA games, but that could just be me being really hopeful. So if Nintendo later adds Ruby and Sapphire, they'll make Emerald a game thats a download even later just as how they released the games.)
