Hacking The Order 1886 question

hey there guys.

just wanted to ask you all if exists some mod for The Order 1886 to remove that crap black borders and make it full screen. I think that is possible because other games with such crap in ps3 had a mod to just remove it, that points the black cine style black borders is just cosmetic thing

somebody knows about ?

Its the native render resolution. It was an artistic choice by the dev. You cant just "remove them" as it would actually be rendering a higher resolution image affecting performance greatly. Its not like games where they "add" letterbox over a native rendering aspect ratio to give a cinematic look for cutscenes, 1886 literally renders that aspect ratio.

Only mod you could do would be to stretch the image to full screen but then it would look bad and stretched.

As far as I know there was never a letterbox remover for the ps3 or ps4 version. Only the PC version. PC's can handle the extra FOV rendering.

I loved this game. Just a shame they gave up on it and never did anything else with it

i cant bare the black borders
videogames are no movies, and even more, in the current tv series exist a tendency to put black borders. I tried to guess what kind of idiots take that kind of decisions.. that convert the final product in something near to shit !

@viper3344 you are wrong at least with Beyond Two souls. Exist a nice mod to remove the back borders on that game. In PS3 i mean, surely not on the ps4 version of the same game. So for that reason i have thougt that maybe exist some mod for The Order 1886.
