I'm planning on pirating Modern Warfare 2 and Street Fighter IV but that's not related.

Not surprising. I find it foolish that companies act like they're losing lots of money. They aren't losing anything at all since the downloader wasn't going to buy the game in the first place.

they're not losing money in the sense that money is being taken from them, but they're losing sales
sales they at least partially expected to receive
don't do that shit where you try to justify piracy by acting like it actually doesn't harm the companies
