Yesterday GBATEMP user @173210 Found that something had been fixed in the latest 3ds firmware update. Something that might let people on system firmwares 9.3 and above have kernel access on the 3ds. Were still waiting to see what will come of this! Keep us Updated @173210 !

For those of you who are uninformed, like myself, the new DSTWO+ is supposed to be released this month, it supposedly plays 3ds games, nds games, gba games and more.
If what they say is true, and you can play 3ds games on any firmware, you might miss out on the expanding 3ds u mebrew scene, but you will still be able to enjoy some yummy ds homebrew (DScraft anyone?), as well as those classic gba games. It seems that this flashcard may become more than vaporware (play this)
