Actually, for me it depends on the writing/ how proficient the writer is, if i find myself re-reading sentences just to understand what they're talking about (don't get me started on grammatical errors, missing punctuation marks etc), and it's difficult to follow their train of thought, that simply means they're shit at writing, no other explanation. so it might be the case for you too.
